Palpating the Sacred:
Hands-on skills training in the energetic realms
Rooted ethics in the tissue and energy patterns of cerebrospinal and myofascial intelligence, supporting the balance, grace, resolution, and deep healing capacity of the body wisdom which is already present, always.
The class focuses on palpation skills and exercises for deep attunement and responsiveness within the bioelectromagnetic life forces that breathe life through us and our clients. And of course: safety, the container, the prayer, the graces, the patience. Some story telling about the origins of Craniosacral and energy medicine traditions that root our practice. We will do journeying into the body awareness with tools and guided meditations. There really is too much to fit into two afternoons but we will suffice with just an introduction to the field. This class welcomes you to a new and deep territory to explore with your clients for a career or a lifetime self study.
One thing I'm really excited about is having people learn not by long sessions but by rapid fire comparison, on many people and checking their palpation on me personally before we progress to learning the main types and locations of palpation for spiritual engagement.

Addressing the spiritual and energetic elements of our system requires advanced safety and ethics and this class will provide elements of a safe and resourced container in which our client or loved one can rely. It is up to us to practice and expand on these skills in order to perform them skillfully and habitually.

This class will introduce practical anchoring concepts Ursula Popp taught: "The path of the healer is the path of the self." We atttend to ourselves first, our own gravitational root and anchor for consciousness so that we can proceed with clarity about the boundaries of perception, and service. This is safety; the intention of benefit, service, and respect for the autonomously unfolding body wisdom inside our client.

This class is a first step! Welcome....!

It's time to bring the spiritual to the forefront. We are energy. Mass is dense energy. Our energetic and spiritual aspect is always alive and listening. Join me for learning circle as we honor our own energetic blueprint to become a solid anchor for those we work with. There will be demonstrations, hands-on work, and exercises.

My teacher, Ursula Popp emphasized that the path of the healer is the path of the Self. We open up to becoming aware of ourself as cultivator of our spirit. How do we talk to ourself? How do we treat ourself? When we notice we became out of focus for a moment, with what quality of warmth do we welcome ourself back to presence and service?

We will learn from the original Cranial Osteopaths, who regarded this work as Spiritual: the intelligence or "potency" of the cerebrospinal fluid unifies our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects all in one. These clinicians compiled extensive research over decades to prove the legitimacy of this work, however, though they obscrued the spiritual aspect of this work in an attempt to protect the medical legitimacy of this work. Indigenous wisdom is the root of this work and we will cultivate bowing and honoring to the patterns of nature and harmony and balance from traditions who showed a way.

This class is for those with a license to provide healthcare, including Massage Therapists and those who are already certified Craniosacral Practitioners. This is also a place of learning for those who receive Craniosacral Therapy and who wish to deepen their contextual understanding for the possibilities of deep healing when assisted to find and maintain a place of being in the deeper states of the nervous system, what Craniosacral Therapists call the deeper tides: the mid-tide and most importantly, the long tide.

I bring 30 years of somatic teachings, study and practice to this training with the goal of introducing concepts that deepen and bear fruit over time for your personal benefit and for those you serve.
